Tim Kagiri

Tim Kagiri is a graduate student at Simon Fraser University, and a Knowledge Translator and Designer at the University of British Columbia. Following a decade of industry experience in Nairobi — the 'Silicon Savannah,' — Kagiri's research focuses on designing health tech systems that may benefit at-risk pregnant women in rural and remote Kenya. His most recent fieldwork in Kenya, however, reveals strong parallels to risks faced by pregnant women in rural and urban North America.
