Alexandra Fortier is a PhD student in psychiatric science and addictology at the University of Montreal. Her research work at the Centre de Recherche de l’Institut Universitaire en Santé Mentale de Montréal focuses on the neurobiology of schizophrenia. Specifically, she is working on the neural mechanisms involved in a virtual reality therapy targeting auditory verbal hallucinations in treatment-resistant schizophrenia.
