Christopher Robinson, MD, PhD

Dr. Christopher L. Robinson, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist and chronic pain fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital who will stay on as research faculty. He is an anesthesiologist who trained at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He completed his MD/PhD at Weill Cornell Medicine, contributing to groundbreaking antiviral drug discoveries with the 2020 Nobel Prize in Medicine winner, Dr. Charles Rice. He graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Biochemistry. He leads a global research team that leverages advanced technologies and novel therapeutics to develop treatments for chronic pain. He also directs MGH-Harvard-Tufts Pain Grand Rounds and is an editor for multiple pain research journals.
