Muskaan Mehra, MSHS

Muskaan Mehra is a Clinical Research Data Specialist at Cedars-Sinai's Center for Outcomes Research and Education/Health Services Research, led by Drs. Brennan Spiegel and Liran. In her role, Muskaan coordinates multiple NIH-funded trials that provide access to new technologies, such as virtual reality for chronic pain management to rural and cancer participants, helping develop online tools for patients with Crohn’s disease and Colon Cancer. She also coordinates the lab's newest Artificial Intelligence-based studies surrounding the use of AI conversational agents across multiple disciplines: mental health, bariatrics, addiction psychiatry, palliative care, and geriatric oncology. Finally, she leads the coordination of the MXR Virtual Medicine Conference. She’s most fascinated with the concept of bringing innovation and technology to clinical spaces to improve health outcomes, nationally and globally.

Muskaan received her Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Subsequently, she received a Masters of Science in Health Systems (MSHS) from the Cedars-Sinai's Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She's been growing her interest in the digital health space and recognizing the value of integrating new and creative digital solutions to shape the future of our global healthcare ecosystem.
