Artificial Intelligence-Powered Therapy in Virtual Reality
Who are we?

We are a research group at Cedars-Sinai interested in studying the feasibility, safety, and acceptance of using VR AI therapy for alcohol relapse prevention.
What is the purpose of this research project?
The goal of this research is to determine the feasibility, safety, and patient acceptance of utilizing AI for therapy sessions in VR environments for alcohol use relapse prevention. If the research aims are achieved, the findings will inform future development and implementation of AI-powered therapy within VR.
Who is eligible?
For this study, we are looking for patients who:
- Are age 18+
- Diagnosed with alcohol-associated liver cirrhosis
How can I participate?
Complete the eligibility check by pressing the "Am I Eligible" button, and, if eligible, you will receive further instructions. For more information, please contact us via email at VRStudyMail@cshs.org or call us at (310) 423-2171; a study team member will follow up with more information.
What can I expect if I participate?
